The Association works to accomplish its objectives through the dedicated work of committees. The task of the committees is to consider and respond to issues presented from the neighborhood. You are welcome and encouraged to join a committee that is of interest to you.

The Public Safety Committee acts as a forum to support community partnerships to prevent crime and the fear of crime in the neighborhood. The committee focuses on neighborhood priority issues
such as prostitution, burglary, home invasion, car theft and other public safety concerns. The committee works with the Boston Police Department, Commonwealth of Massachusetts State Police and
other law enforcement officials to problem solve, share information and address issues.

This committee addresses zoning and land use issues in North Dorchester that impact the our neighborhood. The committee addresses these issues by having parties of interest
(developers, impacted neighbors, liquor license applicants, government officials, etc.) give presentations at scheduled meetings.
